The American Society of Power Engineers, Inc. (ASOPETM) is an independent third party licensing agency whose objective is to establish national standards and a formal structured level of competence for national and international recognition of the power engineer.

The Canadian Boiler Society is a society of energy and environmentally concerned companies consisting of boiler manufacturers and supplier companies to the boiler industry in Canada.

To inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society.

The Ontario Area of the Institute of Power Engineers is a part of a National organization dedicated to promoting the role played by Power Engineers in our power-dependent economy. It is a profession with an early established history. Locally, we represent Power Engineers in Ontario.

The Institute of Power Engineers is a professional organization made up of Power Engineers and people working in related fields.

Works to increase awareness of pressure equipment safety and reliability throughout the industry using technological improvements associated with fabrication, maintenance and inspection.

The SOPEEC is a committee delegated by, and responsible to, the Canadian Association of Chief Inspectors. SOPEEC was formed in 1972 to promote a uniform examination system and improve mobility of power engineers between member jurisdictions.
