According to the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), health is a global issue and global health - the optimal well-being of all humans - is a fundamental human right. Nursing endorses a primary health-care approach which is aimed at:

Preventing illness and promoting health
Providing universally accessible healthcare to people by means they find acceptable
Presenting healthcare at a cost communities and countries can afford
Sharing responsibility for achieving global health and equity with many different groups and individuals

To find epidemiological data on global health, including statistics by country, health topic indicators and information about specific diseases and other health measures, it's recommended to check with the Global Health Observatory which is a public health observatory established by the World Health Organization.
