Effective May 17, 2017, the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario, Certified Management Accountants of Ontario, and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, are amalgamated and continue as Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

SPAC's mission is to promote the on-going education and setting of qualifying standards to ensure professional competence in the practise of accountancy. The student area includes information on qualifying exams.
