Math Centre

What is the Math Centre?

At the Math Centre, students from different programs at Georgian can get help for a broad range of mathematics such as reinforcing and understanding concepts, working through word problems, formulas and equations.
There are Math Centres for drop-in appointments at the Barrie and Owen Sound campuses and virtual services for all campuses are available online through Navigate360.

Get Math Help

In-Person

  • Book a Math Centre appointment through Navigate360.
  • Drop in to the Math Centre at the Barrie or Owen Sound campus.
  • Hours available Monday - Friday.

Online & Self-serve

Book an Apointment

Scheduling an appointment with the Math Centre.

  1. Login to Navigate360 with your Georgian username and password
  2. From the left menu, click Appointments
  3. In the top right corner, click Book Appointment
  4. Select the type of appointment you would like to schedule - choose, Tutoring and Math Help
  5. Select the service you need. E.g. I need help with Chemistry or I need help with Accounting
  6. Select a date
  7. Click Find Available Time
  8. Choose a date and time that works for you
  9. Choose how you would like to meet: In person or virtually
  10. In the text box, share any other information that will help us help you!
  11. Click to receive an email or text reminder
  12. Click schedule
  13. Success! You will receive an email with the details of your appointments.
