What is online math tutoring?

Tutoring is a FREE service for all Georgian students. We support your learning by reviewing tips that will enhance your learning skills.

Tutors are other post-secondary students who have achieved high academic standing and have been recommended by faculty.

Academic Success Policies and Procedures

Drop-In Math Help

  1. Identify the type of math help you need (general, financial, physics, etc.). Make sure you have your questions handy. Digital copy is strongly recommended.

  2. See what times are offered. Select a time slot that works for you. Note any unavailable times.

  3. You will first enter the “waiting room” in the WebEx room. The math technologist is advised someone is waiting and will admit you when they’re ready. You may need to wait a few minutes, since this a first come, first serve service.

  4. Sessions can last up to 45 minutes. However, another student may join if they are invited in.
