Covid-19 Update

 

Current service provided updated as of August 19, 2020

Interlibrary loan requests are currently limited to electronic documents such as articles and book chapters. Loan requests for print books or print items is not available. In addition, there is currently no system available to provide eBooks.

Our Interlibrary Loan policy remains the same and specifically, course textbooks are not provided through this service. Course textbooks are available through Georgian Stores

About Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service available for current Georgian students, faculty and staff. It provides access to resources (books, articles, videos) that are not in the Georgian library collection. There is no charge for this service. Photocopies of articles or book chapters must meet the requirements of the Canadian Copyright Act.

Interlibrary Loan Tips

Please note, we cannot request the following via Interlibrary loan:

  • physical items, entire books or print articles due to COVID restrictions
  • eBooks
  • Dissertation / Thesis
