Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) is the national advocacy association for the interior design profession. As the national advocacy body, the IDC represents more than 5,000 members including fully qualified interior designers and related professionals. In addition, they have as members over 200 manufacturers and suppliers who provide products and services for interior design projects and firms.
As a professional body, ARIDO's mandate is to regulate the interior design profession in Ontario for the betterment of the profession and in the best interests of the public. ARIDO sets standards for admission into membership, including education and experience standards, Practice Standards, professional development requirements as well as adherence to a Code of Ethics and Practice Standards.
