Finding Hands-on Resources for use in ECE Practice

As an ECE Student, you'll need to access the library's traditional resources (books, journals, articles and other resources). You'll also need to access the library's unique collection of resources intended for use with children (picture books, kits, games and more). Our Board Book Collection:

Consists of Heavier cardboard books, sturdy for young children, easily cleaned
May be based on a longer picture book but simplified
Intended for children aged 0-3 years

Search by known title or author OR by theme (e.g. families)
Can modify search with “board books” as another keyword

Designed for reading to a larger group of children for ease of viewing

Manipulatives that teach core concepts (e.g. money)
