Teaching and Learning

Connecting faculty to resources that support research in the discipline of education – teaching and learning. A collaboration between the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Library.

Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Guide

This guide is a collaboration of the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the library at Georgian College. The focus of the guide is to support the "researcher" competency in the Faculty Competency Framework. We do this by bringing attention to resources like databases, books, web sites, and more. Our hope is to ignite an interest in research in education.

The guide is organized by major categories. These are learners/students, curriculum/course design, assessment, classroom, educational technology, teaching and learning theories, current issues, and educational organizations and associations. Content on the guide complements the CTL website.
