We support students who are languages learners and all students with the foundational writing skills necessary at college.

Language Help Centre Procedures

Students are supported in:

  • using proper grammar
  • writing clear sentences
  • creating paragraphs
  • preparing a presentation

 

Hours:

  • Barrie - 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Conversation Circles (Barrie - Tuesdays at 11 a.m. in-person and online; Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in-person)

You can’t learn a language if you don’t practice speaking! Join us in the Conversation Circle for:

  • authentic speaking practice;
  • fun activities; and
  • a chance to meet other Georgian Grizzlies in person.

Facilitator: Amanda Graham

Workshops run weekly except during study weeks or statutory holidays.
