We support students with the foundational academic writing and language skills necessary at college.

Language Help Centre Procedures

Visit our site on the student portal for complete information on our services.

Students are supported in:

  • understanding academic integrity
  • using proper grammar
  • writing clear sentences
  • creating paragraphs
  • preparing a presentation

 

Hours:

  • Barrie - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (in-person and virtual support)
  • Other campuses - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (virtual support, please book in Navigate 360)

Conversation Circles

Tuesdays - 4 to 5 p.m.

Fridays - 12 to 1 p.m.

Fridays - 1 to 2:00 p.m.(virtual reality experience)

Online Conversation:

Tuesdays - 4 to 5 p.m. Join Online

Begins May 13th.

You can’t learn a language if you don’t practice speaking! Join us in the Conversation Circle for:

  • authentic speaking practice;
  • fun activities; and
  • a chance to meet other Georgian Grizzlies in person.

All Grizzlies are welcome!
