Building a Medical Terminology Foundation (2020), by Kimberlee Carter (Conestoga) and Marie Rutherford (Georgian) is one of Georgian's first published OER. This text is already in use at Georgian, Conestoga and other academic institutions. In a presentation at Open Education Conference 2022, educators discuss a state-wide collaboration based on Building a Medical Terminology Foundation. Kimberlee and Marie are currently working on a plan to revise this 2020 publication with V2 coming in 2023.

The English for Degree Entrance Preparation pressbook is designed to equip students with essential language and communication skills. In this book, you will find a wealth of practical tips, exercises, and examples to reinforce your understanding of sentence skills, reading strategies, writing strategies, research skills, and presentation skills. Students will be equipped with a comprehensive toolkit to excel in the English for Degree Entrance Preparation course, Academic and Career Preparation, Georgian College.

Moreover, the course places a strong emphasis on persuasion and argumentation—an asset in both academia and the real world. Understanding how to engage with scholarly literature is crucial for success in higher education, and EDE provides a solid foundation for this. The EDE Pressbook has been tailored to ensure students gain the intellectual tools necessary to thrive in academia and society at large.

This book is meant for the learners in Georgian College's English for Academic Purposes program and is used for the elective course: Indigenous History and Culture. It is a textbook that is accessible to our learners, simple to understand, and convenient to use.

Organic and Biochemistry Supplement to Enhanced Introductory College Chemistry is a collaboratively created textbook with Georgian College and Loyalist College. It is a continuation of the Enhanced Introductory College Chemistry textbook published in 2023. This book is designed to address most organic chemistry topics covered in an introductory or organic chemistry course in most program areas. Topics include identification, nomenclature, bonding, physical properties, chemical reactions and uses of the common major functional groups from alkanes and other hydrocarbon groups to alcohols and other oxygen containing groups to amides and amines. Additional topics include polymers, biochemistry and chromatography and spectroscopy. Each chapter contains examples, relevant images, embedded videos, exercises with answers, links to external interactive tools, glossary, and review practice questions with selected answers.

This OER textbook is an adaptation/remix of several existing OER, combined with original content to create a comprehensive textbook for COMM1016 at Georgian (and beyond!). Summary PowerPoints created and expanded H5P activities added with support from the OER Design Studio for Fall 2022. The OER Design Studio continues to assist with updates and maintenance for this OER.

This OER was a multi-institutional collaboration with faculty from six institutions as contributors. Building a Medical Terminology Foundation is currently in use with students in health administration and health programs in institutions across North America, including Conestoga College & Georgian College. This OER was revamped and republished in Summer, 2024.

This OER material is a companion for the Therapeutic Communication for Health Care Administrators OER. A collaborative project between Conestoga, Georgian & Sheridan, this project also used OER student assistants and a large number of reviewers to fine tune the final project.

This OER will be used starting in Fall 2022 for PSYC4008 – Research Methods in Psychology. Currently in it's 4th edition, this OER is provided by Kwantlen Polytechnic University and licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. The OER Design Studio will be assisting in the implementation of this text by helping to create interactive H5P activities to accompany the text.
